Extrusion

Extrusion can theoretically produce seamless sheets, pipes and profiles with a constant cross-section along their length. In the extrusion process, granules are conveyed as the base material through various zones of a line. After a melting phase in which additives such as colorants, protective agents, fibers, etc. are also fed, the compression zone begins in which the material is further compressed and the pressure is built up for discharge from the die.

Our modern profile and sheet extrusion lines are core elements of our service portfolio.

In particular, plastic sheets are extruded here as monomaterials as well as co-extruded with a focus on styrenics. In the case of monomaterials, polystyrene and ABS in particular are processed, while PS-TPE and ABS-TPU in particular are extruded in the case of co-extrudates.

The profiles, plastic sheets and anti-slip mats produced in the extrusion process meet the highest quality standards.
